Trump May Not Be President For Very Long According To This Author

Canadian author and journalist Malcolm Gladwell believes Donald Trump won’t last as president for more than a year.

In an interview with The National, the Outliers author predicts that Trump will be in jail within a year.

“He’s got so many legal problems, I suspect he will spend the next few years huddled with his lawyers,” Gladwell told ‘The National.’

Though Hillary faced a backlash of scandal over her email enquiries, Trump has had legal trouble of his own, including the Trump University fraud case, “Russian ties” and questionable charity donations.

If Trump’s laundry is dirtier than Hillary’s, why is it that so many Americans voted him in? Gladwell puts it down to Clinton being a woman.

“People had a preexisting mental notion of what a female candidate would look like, and she doesn’t look like it. He also stated that it is “difficult for society to accept an openly ambitious woman.”

Clinton’s political drive is something that has cast a dark shadow over Hillary Clinton throughout her political career.

Gladwell wrapped things up by stating that Trump being the non-elitist choice is incorrect.

“One guy is the child of privilege who grew up in a multi million-dollar household, and has every advantage handed to him on a silver platter.

“The other candidate is a woman who came from the most ordinary of circumstances – who is the elite in this battle?”
