Biography Of Elishama Rosemary Ideh, Female 2019 Presidential Aspirant

Published

on

Dr(Mrs.) Elishama Ideh is the President/Founder of Christ The Ever-Present Ministry CTEM,Lagos, a faith based organization that provides succor and hope for despairing souls. A widow and a mother of four,

She is also the initiator of Partnership For A New Nigeria -PFANN, a socio-advocacy group seeking to engender ethnical revolution in the polity and consequently enthrone the birth of a New Nigeria. Here she talks about her life and ministry and shares how poverty can be reduced in Nigeria.

She Describes Her Background here:  I was born and raised in Lagos State to a police officer father and a businesswoman mother, both of them are natives of Ewohimi (Ishanland) in Edo state, South-South Nigeria.
Although we were not particularly affluent, it was a closely-knit family full of love. And as the only girl in the family, I was the centre of attraction and affection of not only my parents, but my siblings as well.

I had my primary education at Mayflower primary school Ikenne, Ogun State, and secondary school education at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Onitsha, before proceeding to study Mass Communication at Bowie State College, Maryland, USA. On my return from USA, I went into business and was doing wonderfully well.

Consequently when the nudging began to go into ministry work, I conveniently ignored it. Evang. Elishama CTEM is creating awareness on the plight of the needy However, a series of bizarre and soul-stirring experiences made me answer the Lord call to go into ministry. After four years, on March 11th, 2000, I finally succumbed to God’s call.
Now, I am completely sold out for Him! I have carefully put this account together in my book: The Authority of a Believer As an Evangelist, my local assembly is The Redeemed Christian Church of God, and my official parish is Mercy Land parish, Odulami Street, Lagos.
My late husband, John Ideh was a member of the pastorate of this parish until he went to be with the Lord on February 7th, 2004.
I was a worker in RCCG for years before I was called into the ministry. CTEM Christ The Ever-Present Ministries (CTEM) is not a church.
It’s a faith-based organization founded solely with an audacious mandate: to reveal the love of Christ to the lost in our generation, to reach the unsaved, rejected, oppressed and destitute; those generally regarded as dregs of society, with the gospel of salvation and in the process, restore hope to them by sharing His love, not just by word of mouth, but by practical demonstration of the character of God, which is love.
Some believe that ministering to these people is difficult, but I believe that whenever God commissions you to do a task, He goes ahead of you and waters the ground for you to work on. Ministering to area boys When the Lord sent me out to the street, I did not envisage the area boys as an addition to my calling. I was just focusing on the abandoned, the destitute, the orphans, prostitutes and the widows. But it got to a season in my work on the street, that we now desired an office where people could meet with me for counseling because prior to that time, we would just carry our chairs and tables to the streets and under the bridges and that was where my office was as we moved along in the work.
But where the Lord eventually pointed out to be our office location was already inhabited with about 150 area boys, drug addicts and drug sellers and the Lord said I have given you the land, take care of the giants in it’s. That scared me to death because I was wondering why it should be an area occupied by armed robbers, drug dealers, miscreants that have to be our office location in Ogba area. Anyway, by faith, I stepped out to do the assignment.
But on my first attempt to enter the land, my workers were beaten black and blue for trying to come in to possess the land. This particular land happened to be a property I was working on before the Lord called me into ministry. I abandoned it because of all the problems associated with the land. I ran back to the Lord, and by His leading, I organized an all-night crusade in a motor garage next to the land. And that night, all the area boys, armed robbers, drug dealers that were inhabiting the land gave their lives to Christ, and that was how we were able to take possession of the land. That was also how area boys were added to my ministry, in fact, they joined the workers to make sure that the construction of the property went on smoothly.
Unique style God has given us wisdom on how to minister to this set of people. We make sure we come down to their level; we organize our crusades in such a way that it will not have a religious setting in order to catch their attention. The sort of music we play is the sound they are used to. We bring gospel music to them in the form of Apala, juju, reggae, alanta, generally street sound but imbibed with anointing of the Holy Ghost, then we feed them and clothe them, we identify what brought them out to the street.

The ones we can reconcile with their families back we reconcile, and the ones we can’t we give a new lease of life. A lot of people think that these group of boys called the area boys are a set of completely wasted people. This happens to be the people God called me to minister to and we have recorded tremendous testimonies. We have watched the lives of these young men transform dramatically in a very short space of time.
Most of them have been empowered economically and are doing well. Poverty in our land In our land right now, poverty is on the increase, and this is because we ve failed to understand that poverty arises as a result of the mismanagement and failure to properly harness our God-given natural resources and the insensitivity of any government to the welfare of its people.
Thus, we are making conscientious efforts to educate leaders of churches on the importance of getting involved in the polity of the nation and why the walls of the church needed to be broken so that the light and the salt of the earth, which they have been called to be, will be extended to the exteriors of the nation since only righteousness can exalt a nation.

From left is the representive of the National Chairman of ANN, Dr Osita Okonkwo, Khairat Animashaun-Ajiboye (Director Organization & Operations, NIM); The Presidential Aspirant, Lady Elishama Ideh; Mr Gbenga Ademujimu Of PFANN; Mrs Juliet Binitie and Ambassador Jeff. The MC was Lady Uri.

Dr. Elishama Rosemary Ideh is a female presidential aspirant on the platform of Alliance for a New Nigeria (ANN), Dr. Elishama Rosemary Ideh, has declared that she will defeat President Muhammadu Buhari and other aspirants in the fourth come 2019 elections.

Ideh stated this yesterday in Abuja while declaring her intention to contest the 2019 presidential poll, noting that she is confident that she would defeat incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari and other presidential candidates at the election.

The presidential hopeful, who said that what the country needs at the moment is a new model of governance, stated that she was prepared for the task ahead if voted as President in next year’s general election.

Ideh added that she has articulated workable solutions to address the myriad of problems confronting the country.

“We will confront the monster of corruption with utmost vigour, but with a different mindset from past and current efforts. We will fight corruption in all its tangible and intangible manifestations. We will strive to enhance the Independence and autonomy of the EFCC in terms of its funding, privileges, powers and even the composition of its leadership,” she said.

“Unlike our opposition, who seek to use the EFCC as an attack dog to fight their opposition while shielding their friends from the consequences of corruption and other misdemeanors, we are confident in giving the EFCC the latitude it needs to carry out its statutory mandate and to prosecute cases without bias or prejudice, simply because we have nothing to hide.”

She further stated that Nigeria needs “a leader who combines integrity with intelligence and a deep and vast understanding of the implications of the 21st global economy and Nigeria’s place in it.”

Why Christians should do politics Using the platform of Kingdom Dimensions Series, under PFANN, we make Christians realize that as long as they distance themselves from direct or active participation in politics, ostensibly under the notion that politics is dirty, we will continually be under the rule and dominion of the kind of leaders we have unfortunately been saddled with since independence. My plan for CTEM is for it to grow as an entity that will be able to create enough sensitivity and awareness in all the local government areas of the nation, in cities, towns, villages and everywhere apart from what we are doing in our little way as a ministry to effect changes in the plight of the poor and needy in our generation. Our plan is to create a lot of awareness on the plight of the needy in our society.
This is to make sure that there is provision, social security schemes and homes for the poor, misplaced, abandoned and afflicted, and that the government will adequately put schemes in place to make sure that the needs of these people are being met in the whole nation.

Habibat Jinad, the Nigerian actress famous in the Yoruba film industry, has revealed why she decided to bleach her skin.

In a recent interview on Talk To B podcast, Jinad alleged she was verbally abused by Mide Martins, a colleague, on the set of a movie.

She claimed that Mide insulted her and called her a “monkey with a black face”.

Jinad said people always complain about her dark complexion, advising her to “lighten up”.

She added that she “decided to change after Mide insulted me” to make people happy.

“We were at Afeez Owo’s rehearsal ground and a colleague of mine did something wrong which I was not a part of,” she said.

“They told us to kneel down. Mide Martins, my boss and some other people were there. Mide Martins insulted me and called me someone with a black face.

“She said so many things to abuse me and I felt very bad. I later found out that she called me a monkey with a black face.

“I’m sure that till now she might not know that what she said to me the other day somehow affected me.

“Even before then, whenever I was on set, people would say that I’m too dark-skinned and that I need to lighten up.

“So after Mide insulted me, I thought about what I could do to make these people happy. So I decided to change.”

Jinad had previously said she would no longer continue to bleach her skin.

“Nobody can bully me again into using bleaching cream. I’m not bleaching my skin anymore,” she said on Instagram.

In a viral voice note online, Badmus lashed out at Lege’s comments and criticised his approach to running his matchmaking show.

She also advised him to learn the proper rules of matchmaking if he lacked understanding.

“Hello Lege, it is like your brain is messy, what do you mean no one should look for your trouble? Who is your grandmother? Who are you? I am saying you have to be discreet about what you are doing,” she said.

“You are doing a matchmaking, if you do not know rules, f**king go online and Google rules about it. How dare you put my name out there saying Eniola is picky. You are mad!”

In response, Lege questioned if Badmus paid for a private service and insulted her appearance.

“Eniola Badmus did you pay for a private session? Did you tell me you did not want anyone to know? You are not alright and you will be well soon,” he said.

“You know I used to respect you, I am now running away from you. Did I post the video we made in Abuja? Are you a fool? Wule bantu, you are shapeless”.

Kwam 1 finally addresses rift with ex-drummer Ayanlowo

Published

Wasiu Ayinde, the Fuji singer fondly called Kwam 1, has finally addressed his rift with Kunle Ayanlowo, his former drummer.

Ayanlowo recently alleged that Kwam 1 was fond of treating his band members like “slaves”.

The instrumentalist claimed he “achieved nothing” while working under the Fuji singer for over three decades.

Ayanlowo, who left the Fuji singer in October 2022, also asked the public to hold the ace singer responsible should any harm befall him.

Kwam 1 had earlier refused to address the allegations.

But speaking with journalists at his Mayegun Resort in Ìjẹ̀bú Ode, Ogun, the Fuji star denied Ayanlowo’s allegations.

Ayinde also shared his side of the story on his rift with Ayanlowo. The singer said he “single-handedly” formed his band,” adding that the initial sharing formula with members was 60/40.

Kwam 1 said as time went on, he adjusted the sharing formula to 40/60 due to the burgeoning size of his music band.

He explained that whenever they perform at an event, he takes 30 percent of the cut while his band members receive 50 percent. 10 percent of his cut and that of his band go to their management.

The singer also spoke about the years-long financial challenges he faced and his “numerous sacrifices” to ensure the smooth running of the band.

“You know how many things I have overlooked in my life to be able to keep a band working? I never can say how many times I have gone to borrow money to finance my band’s trip,” he said.

“From inception, the agreement between me and my group was 60/40. 40 percent to them because they were not many then. Maybe about nine of them. But when they were becoming larger, getting to 14, 15 there was an adjustment of money conditions. I said okay 50/50.

“It is a sole band. I have the grace of God to be able to be someone that is contented. Do you know how many times I have sold my things to fund my band?”

“In my band now I have like 27 or 28. You can imagine.”

Giving an illustration of the sharing formula, Kwam 1 said: “For instance, if we make N10 million from a show, I take only N3 million. and I pay my security details from the N3 million”.

Wasiu also referred to Ayanwolo as a “troubleshooter” who “complains too much”. The singer said due to the drummer’s troubles, he has left the band on several occasions.

The musician said about seven people have apologised to him on behalf of Ayanlowo to reinstate him in the band.

“Like Ayankunle has been a former member of the band. He has been a troubleshooter. He has gone and come back on several occasions. I will tell you, of all my bandmen, he is the only member that over seven times people have come to beg for to restore. Ayankunle that you see complains too much,” he said.

He also alleged that instrumentalists once absconded from the band when they travelled to England to perform in the 90s.

Kwam 1 claimed Ayanlowo’s “dubious act” was eventually uncovered at the British Embassy after overstaying in the city.

“Ayankunle that is complaining that we tore his passport, let me tell you his story. He ran away from the band in England while we were on tour in the 90s. He ran away from the band with his passport. Together with him and another two members of the band. And we came back to Nigeria,” the singer said.

“After overstaying in London, he now gave the passport to somebody to renew it at the embassy. They took the passport, changed the head, and put another person’s head. When they got to the embassy, they discovered that the interview they did for that one did not tally with the visas in the passport. They now asked the person he sent to tell the owner of the passport to come and collect it. Ayankunle’s passport is inside the British embassy.

“This is a man I did the passport for. He cannot write and read. I did everything for him. He ran away with the passport, how come you that ran away with the passport claimed it is with me?”
