In a record-breaking feat, Mo Abudu’s media company, EbonyLife, has become a case study for Masters’ students at the Harvard Business School.

Mo Abudu announced this via her verified Instagram page yesterday, where she revealed that this is the first time in history where a media company owned by a female African would be taught to Master’s students of Business Administration at Harvard.

According to her, over 1,000 MBA students will study the company as a compulsory class for first-year students.

Abudu said, “I did not see this coming, but I’m giving God all the glory. Only He could have made this possible.

“For the first time in history, a case study about a media company led by a female African entrepreneur will be taught at Harvard Business School to over 1,000 MBA students, as a part of the Required Curriculum Classes that all first-year students must take.

“This is The Harvard Business School – Ebonylife Case Study. It’s been about a year in the making, in partnership with Harvard Business School professors and their research department.

“EbonyLife turns ten next year, so the case study reflects on how we started and where we are today. It also reflects on many of the challenges we have had along the way and the consequences of some of the decisions we took.

“It is such an honour for me to be on the Harvard Business School campus in Boston whilst this case study is being taught for the first time today.

“I get the opportunity to share the EbonyLife story with the students and faculty in person, and to answer their questions about our journey. I am literally pinching myself.”

Referring to the picture she shared, she said, “Pictured here with Professors Andy Wu and Feng Zhu, plus a few others for your viewing pleasure. My sincere thanks to the HBS staff and the EbonyLife team for making it possible.”

Today, fans woke up to find Wizkid’s latest single ‘Dance’ to have been displayed from the top 100 after occupying the top spot.

The massive deduction has led to speculations of stream deduction and drinking from the chart which are the most common heavy penalties Apple Music applies on streaming manipulation.

‘Kese’, released 15, November 2024, has the second lead single on Wizkid’s upcoming album ‘Morayo’, has enjoyed immediate success on streaming platforms reaching NO. 1 on the Apple Music Nigeria Top 100 just hours after its release.

Its disappearance from Apple Music Nigeria Top 100, has created a massive buzz online with some considering it a penalty for streaming manipulation while others think it might be a glitch from Apple Music.

By precedence, such deductions are penalties with Apple Music taking stronger actions in cracking down on streaming manipulations.

It’s left to be seen if the song would rebound back to its previous chart-topping position as this would give credence to suspicion of a glitch or perhaps, Apple Music has dropped the hammer of the biggest act yet in their effort to curb stream farming.
