Fuad Laguda picks APC ticket in race to fill Gbaja’s rep seat
Fuad Kayode-Laguda has been declared winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for the Surulere 1 seat at the house of representatives.
Laguda is expected to replace Femi Gbajabiamila, former speaker of the house, who represented the Lagos constituency before his appointment as Chief of Staff (CoS) to President Bola Tinubu.
In the election, which held at the Teslim Balogun stadium, on Saturday, Laguda defeated other contestants to clinch the party ticket for the forthcoming election in the constituency.
The nationwide by-election into vacant seats is scheduled for February 3.
