Two feminist activists have been beaten and dragged off scene when they removed their cloths and bra and jumped on stage in a bid to interrupt a Muslim conference held over the weekend in Paris.
The two activists believed to be members of the famous feminist group ‘Femen‘ stormed and disrupted a Muslim conference in France where the men reportedly were discussing whether husbands are allowed to beat their wives according to Islam’s teaching.

They ran on stage in front of two imams reportedly discussing whether it is right to beat a woman or not, screaming “No one can enslave me, no one can possess me, I am my own prophet!” A slogan also written on their naked chests. FEMEN claims its female activists were protesting against “womanophobia” and violence against women they say is widespread among Muslims, as stated in an online release.

“FEMEN is calling for mass opposition against the uprising of those womanophobe integrisms and for a strong answer from our institutions. Womanophobia is illegal. Sexism is a kind of racism. Modern slavery is a crime. Let’s condemn them together, and let’s remind them without ever losing any ounce of strength: No one can enslave me, no one can possess me, I am my own prophet!” The FEMEN France message on Facebook said, calling the two feminists “our topless jihadists”. ..

Thereafter, both partly nude women were dragged off by security personnel and, as it can clearly be seen on the video of the incident, They were slapped and kicked by an unidentified man. The activists were later detained by police and released later that night. The organizers of the salon announced their plan to file a lawsuit against the activists who interrupted the event.
I wonder how some men can easily hit and kick a woman like this no matter the provocation.
Really!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court, on Thursday ordered a 30-year-old man, Garba Aliyu, to sweep the court premises for three weeks for stealing women’s purse.

Aliyu was convicted and sentenced after he pleaded guilty to theft. The Magistrate, Ibrahim Emmanuel, said the convict’s plea had saved the court the pains of a prolonged prosecution, adding that the punishment would have been more severe if he had not pleaded guilty.

Emmanuel said that in arriving at the sentence, the court took into consideration the fact that the convict was a first time offender who was remorseful. He also advised him to be of good behavior, stressing that the court frowned at acts of violence.

“Desist from such acts in future and become a better citizen and human being,’’ he advised.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp. Chidi Leo, told the court that on May 7, the convict criminally trespassed into the shop of one Adanna Ebuka located at Kano Road along Ahmadu Bello Way Kaduna.

Leo said that the convict went into the shop and stole a purse belonging to the complainant while pretending to buy a loaf of bread. He added that during police investigation, the said purse was recovered from the convict.

The prosecutor said the offence contravened the Penal Code of Kaduna State, 2017.

Nigerian singer Mayorkun has publicly responded to the arrest of controversial influencer Nicki DaBarbie, strongly denying her allegations of misconduct.

In a recent tweet, the artist expressed his disbelief at the accusations and announced his intention to pursue legal action against DaBarbie, despite her current detention.

Mayorkun clarified that he has never encountered Nicki DaBarbie in person and was entirely unaware of her existence until the allegations surfaced.

Addressing the serious accusation that he and fellow artist Skiibii attempted to spike her drink for ritualistic purposes, Mayorkun emphasized his innocence and condemned the ease with which such claims spread online.

Reacting to the allegation, Mayorkun said; “You know, I was going to let this remain as a court case but when I checked the comments under some of the blogs where these ridiculous allegations were posted, I was quickly reminded of how gullible most people are on the internet and how they are ready to run along, spreading any negative news without any form of clarity.

“Just for the record, I never met that person on the said day, still never seen that person till this day, never knew about that person’s existence not until those allegations came up.. yet she claimed I put ‘something’ in her drink.
A lot of people believed that story and you think I’ll let this libellous claim fly? Hell fucking NO!

“I took this time off because I didn’t want to act out based off of emotions, because if I did; I’ll definitely act out of character and that is not who I am.

“For weeks; I’ve been getting calls from brands I work with, colleagues, friends & family about this rubbish and you know what makes it worse? You social media commentators, internet police, even people I used to think I’m cool with.. scrambling for the tiniest bit of clout and relevance, cluelessly jumping on anything not bothered if it’s someone’s life or career on the line; it might be yours tomorrow.

“I wanna re-instate, I have never seen this person before even as I am typing this! I still haven’t set my eyes on this person.. Like what else can I say? How else can I prove this?

“There’s no need for me to ask for an apology where I won’t get any. I just needed to say this publicly and get it off my chest.. cos if it was a case of ‘cancellation’ as many people are quick to do, I for don go back to dey find work for bank.

“But as they didn’t wait to hear my side of the story before they slandered my name, I would keep the same energy and not listen to anyone’s opinion while I press full charges.. even though I’m aware she’s remanded in prison at the moment but not on my own charge.. YET!”
