Buhari Speaks On Removing Emir Sanusi
According to a report by The PUNCH, the President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to a statement from former Kano Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso that he has a hand in the dethronement of Lamido Sanusi as the Emir of Kano.
Speaking on the matter, presidential aide, Garba Shehu denied the allegation on Wednesday in a series of tweets.
“President Muhammadu Buhari has no involvement whatsoever in the dethronement of HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II from the position of Emir of Kano. All such insinuations are untrue, malicious and politically motivated.” a part of the tweet read.
