Popular Instagram comedian, Mr Macaroni has taken to Twitter to claim that SARS officials are still operating, despite the disbandment of the Special Anti Robbery Squad on Sunday.
According to Mr Macaroni, some SARS officials were still harassing Nigerians along the Lekki-Epe expressway, demanding to see their phones at gunpoint.
He tweeted,
“SARS Operatives Operating right now on Lekki – Epe Expressway. Demanding to see phones at gunpoint!”
Recall that, the comedian has been one of the many celebrities that are actively involved in the protest against police brutality and extrajudicial killing, in the country.
Few days back, Macaroni passed the night at the Lagos State Government House in Alausa, after leading a protest late into Thursday night, against police brutality.
According to the comedian, he’s ready to leave no stone unturned to ensure the government harkens to the people’s voice.
In a series of tweet Mr Macaroni revealed that he would be taking the #EndSARS protest to another level, by sleeping in front of the government house, till action is taken by the government to end police brutality in the country.
