Tonto Dikeh defects to APC
Tonto Dikeh, the Nollywood star, has officially defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The film star, who was the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2023 gubernatorial election in Rivers, was unveiled by the ruling party on Monday.
Dikeh was unveiled as a member of the party by Mary Alile, the party’s national women leader, and Duro Mesekoat, the deputy national publicity secretary, at the APC national secretariat in Abuja.
The ruling party also confirmed the development via its official X handle alongside photos of the actress’ unveiling.
