Why women break up with men they are still in love with

Published

on

Many people wonder why women break up with men they are still in love with. It’s confusing, heartbreaking, and seems to go against the idea of staying together for love.

Yet, it happens more often than we think. Love alone is not always enough to sustain a relationship.

One of the main reasons women leave men they love is the lack of emotional support. Relationships need more than just love to thrive. They require understanding, listening, and caring for each other’s feelings. If a woman feels emotionally neglected, it can be very painful.

Over time, this lack of support can make her feel lonely and unimportant, leading her to leave the relationship, even if she still loves her partner.

Every couple faces conflicts. However, if these conflicts remain unresolved, they can pile up and become too heavy to carry. Women try to communicate their feelings and concerns, but if their partners do not listen or take their issues seriously, it can create a rift.

Constant fighting without resolution can make the relationship toxic, pushing a woman to leave to find peace and happiness.

As people grow, their goals and dreams might change. Sometimes, a woman might find that her life goals no longer align with her partner’s. This difference can be about career aspirations, having children, or where to live.

When these fundamental goals clash, staying together can become a struggle. Even if love is still present, the practical aspects of life can force a difficult breakup.

Feeling valued and appreciated is essential in any relationship. Women want to feel special and loved, not just through words but also through actions.

If a man stops showing appreciation, whether through small gestures or acknowledging her efforts, it can make her feel taken for granted. This feeling of being unappreciated can erode the love she has and make her decide to leave.

Sometimes, women break up with men they love because they realise they need to focus on their personal growth. They might feel that they have lost their identity in the relationship or that they need time to discover themselves. This self-awareness can drive them to end the relationship to work on becoming the best version of themselves.

Trust is the foundation of any healthy relationship. If a man cheats or lies, it can shatter the trust between the couple. Once broken, trust is very hard to rebuild. A woman might still love her partner but feel that the betrayal is too big to overcome. The pain of infidelity can lead her to leave the relationship to protect herself from further hurt.

In some cases, women leave because they do not feel safe. This could be due to emotional, verbal, or physical abuse.

No matter how much love there is, safety comes first. If a woman feels threatened or unsafe, she must prioritise her well-being and leave the relationship.

Breaking up with someone you still love is never easy. Women make this choice for various reasons, and by acknowledging and addressing these issues, couples can work towards a more fulfilling and enduring relationship, ensuring that love is complemented by the respect and support it deserves.

By

Do you notice that your partner isn’t as committed to the relationship as they used to be?

Your partner may seem distracted and distant. You might have asked what was wrong, but they said nothing. Yet you’ve noticed significant changes.

Do you find yourself scrolling through social media and laughing at TikTok videos while your partner is right there?

Constantly using social media and gadgets like video games can create a significant rift in a relationship, leaving your partner feeling neglected and distant.

For men, football season can cause a lot of distraction and space in a relationship.

It’s important to disconnect from technology and focus on quality time with your partner.

You could also pick an activity involving technology you both love like sharing reels on Instagram or TiktTok and playing videos games with each other.

If your partner is stressed at work or is faced with a lot of pressure, they can withdraw from you.

Balancing a demanding job or career with a relationship can be exhausting, leaving little time or energy for your partner.

Work stress causes tension and affects the quality of time spent together.

If you are always hanging out with the ‘boys’ or the ‘girls’, that will barely leave any time for the relationship.

While friendships should not be neglected, putting too much emphasis on social activities outside of the relationship might lead to neglect of your partner.

This might lead to feelings of jealousy or insecurity.

A recent or past ex can be a major distraction in a relationship.

Whether through past traumas, maintaining contact, or any form of communication, exes can become significant distractions.

If these distractions persist, trust can be eroded, leading to the relationship’s demise.

If they meet someone new who they fancy, they may spend considerable time trying to win their affection, and that just means less time for you.

Relationships can be strained due to financial concerns, debt, or money issues.

When one person is worried about their financial situation; it can keep couples from enjoying life and their partner’s companionship.

Prioritize your partner.

It’s important to make time for your partner by scheduling special dates, outings and activities so you can spend quality time with each other.

If these issues arise in a relationship, it’s important to address them openly and make necessary changes.

Failure to do so can lead to the relationship’s downfall.

Jumoke George, the Nollywood actress, has spoken out against the growing trend of Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgeries among women.

In a recent Instagram post, George expressed concerns that some women are risking their lives for unnecessary cosmetic procedures.

The movie star also questioned the motivations behind undergoing BBL surgery, asking if it’s solely to impress men.

“Are you doing it just because of pe**s or what? Are you not beautiful enough?” George asked women.

The actress emphasized that women should appreciate their natural beauty, created in God’s image.

She also highlighted the potential health risks associated with BBL, including knee problems due to the added weight.

“Women, what is the colour of our problem? Because if I say I understand I am lying. The scripture says every creature was made in the image of God the most high,” she said.

“You females looking at me whose image do you think you were created? Are you telling God that He does not know what He was doing? God is perfect. What then are we looking for? God has given some long life but they intentionally cut off their lives.

“What exactly are you looking for in doing BBL? You just want to enlarge your buttocks… Are you not beautiful enough? If any man tells you that you are not beautiful enough and go enhance what God has given you or recreate yourself, tell him he is not in his right senses.

“You hear news about ladies going for BBL and losing their lives. Something that people like me who has it is even feeling it like a weight. Because when it gets to a stage it contributes to knee issues. Hardly will you see someone with big butt that would not have knee problem.

“Stop all these BBL thing. Go and rest. I know some people will listen while others will not. But it saddens my heart.”
