Robbers Burgle Apostolic Church In Lagos, Deal Pastor Heavy Trashings
An Apostolic Church at 22, Awanatu street in Ajao, Mushin area of Lagos was invaded recently by 6 armed teenage robbers.PM Express reports that the robbers beat up the pastor of the church, Rev. Hachariah Adelakun, and carted away some amount of money.
The robbers were said to have stormed the church premises early in the morning, broken the doors and windows of the church auditorium before they made their ways to the offering boxes for money but they could not find any.
It was gathered that the teenage robbers then moved to the resident pastor’s house which is situated in the church premises, forced the doors open and battered the pastor at gunpoint.
They ransacked the entire apartment, demanding all the money realized from the church’s activities. They also stole some phones, CCTV cameras and other properties before escaping.
The incident was reported to the police.One of the suspects, David Timothy, was arrested and charged before Ogba Magistrate court with conspiracy and stealing.
