Wizkid and Justin Bieber perform ‘Essence’ on stage at Jay-Z’s concert (Video)
Wizkid, the Nigerian singer, has teamed up with Justin Bieber, the Canadian pop star, to perform the remix of ‘Essence’, a hit song off ‘Made In Lagos’, at this year’s Made in America music festival.
During the event held over the weekend, Wizkid and Bieber could be seen thrilling a crowd of music lovers at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia with their beautiful performance of the song.
The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner took to his Instagram stories in the early hours of today to share clips of their performance on stage at the event.
Made in America is a multi-genre music festival in Philadelphia in the United States.
The event was founded by Jay-Z in 2012 to showcase a wide range of sounds but with a particular focus on hip-hop.
Since its release in October 2020, ‘Essence’ has continued to enjoy widespread acceptance from music lovers.
The Tems-assisted track also became the first Nigerian song to crack the Billboard chart.
