Kaffy loses dad — few hours after her near-death experience
Kafayat Shafau, Nigerian dancer and choreographer better known as Kaffy, has mourned the demise of her father.
The 41-year-old took to her Instagram page today to break the sad news.
Although she didn’t reveal details of his demise, Kaffy shared a picture of a lighted candle with a dark background — a symbol normally associated with grief.
The development comes a few hours after the award-winning dancer narrated her near-death experience after she had taken a medication that almost took her life.
In the post shared on her Instagram page yesterday, Kaffy said she took some medication that made her system inactive because they triggered allergies she never realised she had.
