Potholes take over section of Third Mainland Bridge (Photos)
There are multiple sections on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos that are riddled with potholes and constitute threats to motorists.
It was observed that the affected parts have deteriorated over the past few months.
A commuter who spoke with newsmen complained about the dangers on the road with the bad portions.
The citizen who did not give his name said “road users may be getting robbed while cars are slowing down due to the bad spots to avoid their cars being damaged”.
He added that a friend of his who was not aware of the bad spots ran into one a few days ago and was lucky not to crash the vehicle.
“But “his tyre went bad and the front legs of his car too got affected,” he added.
