Rhythm Fm OAP, Meka gets successful transplant after 5 years of battling with kidney problem
In his words: It’s been 5 difficult years for me and my family since I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. It comprised of so much crisis: physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual. I can’t begin to recount the number of times death crossed my mind. I literally passed through the valley of the shadow of death. But somebody reached out and pulled me out of that path of hopelessness and fear (and I mean real fear. The kind you can see and touch). His name is JESUS! He sent wonderful helpers my way. From my beautiful nuclear and extended family, to great friends and well wishers , my colleagues, the Silverbird group, people I didn’t even know or heard of. Everyone rallied around me wanting to do something; share a word of prayer, offer encouragement, donate money, some even offered their kidneys. All in all it’s all glory to God, 5 years have passed, 2 #SaveMeka campaigns and finally a successful kidney transplant operation. My eternal gratitude to God and to all the wonderful people who kept telling me ‘Meka you will not die’. Thank you for your enormous support and for your selfless commitment towards my well being. I pray for God’s blessings over your lives. Myself and my loving sister who donated her kidney to me are recovering very well and will be back home soon. I owe my gratitude to a lot of people too numerous to mention here. I will do so on a one on one. Thank you all for your support…
*Awwwww this is good news and come let’s rejoice. You are healed patapata IJN. Amen
