Looks like a large percentage of Ghanaians on social media can’t stand President Dramani Mahama—therefore, every mention of his name is an opportunity to throw punches at him, sometimes funny but mostly shocking.
Boris Kodjoe (full name Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe) of Ghanaian/German descent posted the above photo with President Mahama on his facebook page alongside the message;
‘Meeting with Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama. Great man who sees tremendous value in the empowerment of girls and pushes hard to end child marriages in Ghana. “When you educate a woman you are effectively helping the community…”‘
That was all he said—but the photo has so far attracted over 1000 comments and almost all the comments slam President Mahama for one thing or another.
Though it is shocking to us when “child marriages” became a huge problem in Ghana such that the presidency has a special agenda to tackle it as Boris seems to suggest, the comments could have still questioned the misrepresentation without necessary assaulting the integrity of the President.
