Major Roads In Osun State Flooded After Heavy Downpour
Due to heavy rainfall in Osun state capital Osogbo yesterday which lasted for at least 4 hours, major roads and highways in the city were left flooded, Some of the affected areas includes: Rasco, Okefia, Awosuru, Tanishi, Gbonmi, Oke-Baale and Testing Ground, where vehicular traffic and human movement were halted till about 7. pm after the rain, Properties worth millions of Naira were also destroyed in the incident which also left commuters stranded at the bus stops as the intra-city buses did not operate over fear of irreparable damage to their vehicle as a result of the rain
