Breaking News:Aggravated Okada Riders Storm Customs Office To Protest ‘Illegal’ Killing Of A Rider
Today, October 18 Angry residents in Lagos state are staging a protest at the Custom’s office on Moboloaji Bank Anthony way, Ikeja, over the illegal killing of a motorist named Omotosho Zaheed who was allegedly killed by some customs officers at Mosalasi bus stop, Alagbado, Lagos State last week Thursday.
The protesters revealed that the officers had on the day of the incident, intercepted a trailer load of bags of rice believed to have been smuggled into the country.
However, Hoodlums in the area insisted that the Customs officers will not carry the bags of rice away prompting the officers to shoot sporadically.
One of the bullets ripped through Zaheed’s back, killing him on the spot.
