Veteran Actress Ayo Mogaji Dazzles At 53
Veteran Yoruba Nollywood Actress Binta Ayo Mogaji celebrates her birthday today. Binta Ayo Mogaji who hails from Agbo-Ile in Ibadan was born on March 9,1964. Her father is the first Chief Imam of Ansar Ud Deen Society of Ibadan, Alhaji I. S. Mogaji. Her mother, Alhaja S. A. Mogaji is a retired school mistress.
Binta Ayo Mogaji is one of the few actresses who need no introduction in Nigeria’s movie industry.The actress is fondly referred to as Igbanladogi,a name she got from her role in Late Toba Opaleye’s chart busting film titled ‘IGBALADOGI’ years back.Binta Ayo Mogaji is an actress, popularly known for her roles in leading movies like Pasito Deinde (2005), Àkóbí gómìnà 2 (2002) and Eni Eleni 2 (2005).It was a traumatic period for Ayo Mogaji’s family,friends and fans both home and abroad when the news broke sometime in September that the super actress was seriously ill.
It will be recalled that she relocated to London a couple of years back when she got married to her new husband who is based in the U.K, after her marriage to popular actor,Prince Jibola Dabor packed up. She has a son for Nollywood Actor, Jibola Dabo but never got married to him.
