An online media had on Monday reported that Melaye did not graduate from Ahamadu Bello University, Zaria, which he presented for his election.

The Senate’s decision was sequel to a Point of Order raised by Senator Ali Ndume.

Ndume came under Order 14/15 to present the issue to the Senate.

The Deputy Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, who presided over the plenary, directed Melaye to present the document in contention to the Senate.
