Pay import duties now or else….
If you own a vehicle, you must take time to read this post because The Nigeria Customs Service has given new directives all through the federation on import duties. These directives were backed with a one month ultimatum.
Reports have it that the custom officers are bent on enforcing the payment of this import duties by old and new vehicle users. They would infact arrest and impound vehicles found wanting.
Is it not at the borders that more meticulous checks be done? instead of causing this unecessary stir amongst Nigerians. The customs service should be on top of their game and not mete out the result of their laxity on the general populace.
