2019 General Election: Davido Speaks To Nigerians On Who To Vote
Nigerian multi-award winning singer, Davido has urged Nigerians to make the right choice in voting the right candidate in the forthcoming general election .
Following the success of his concert in London, the singer said the need for Nigerians to defend their vote is a necessity, stressing that the chance to vote in a leader who will make the country work is left in the hand of the citizen.
The “Wonder Woman” crooner who said this on his Instagram, went ahead to stress that the opportunity to elect and re-elect comes every Four years.
Davido, therefore, urged Nigerians to ensure they do not sell their votes irrespective of how much they are priced.
“On February 16th, WE can decide the future of our country. This is why I am supporting the #DefendYourVote initiative.
God will not come down from heaven to save Nigeria, we must do it ourselves. Every 4 years we have the opportunity to do that, and we must take it. A “nothing will change” mentality is the reason we are where we are. If you can vote and you don’t – you are part of the problem. We must go to the polls and let our voices be heard.” He wrote.
