Dapo Abiodun Is Next Ogun Governor – Osinbajo
Nigeria’s vice-president Yemi Osinbajo has said that with God and the support of the people of Ogun, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dapo Abiodun, will emerge as the next governor of the southwest state.
The nation’s number two citizen made this known after the party accused Governor Ibikunle Amosun of engineering the attack on the APC leaders at Monday’s presidential campaign rally in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The party vowed to bring all perpetrators, who disgraced the President and the party leaders, to book.
And Osinbajo urged the people of Ogun to cast their votes on Saturday, February 16, and March 2, massively for APC.
Addressing the people of Ago-Iwoye, at the Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye palace, Oba AbdulRasaq Adenugba, the vice president called on party members and supporters to be wary of those promoting division in the party.
Concise news gathered that the vice president was at the palace to seek the monarch’s support ahead of the general election.
