Election Results: Davido Reacts To PDP’s Performance
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido who is a staunch supporter of the People Democratic Party, PDP has reacted to the ongoing announcement of the 2019 presidential election results.
Davido who campaigned for PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in 2018 and 2019 reacted to the results on his Instagram page.
The 26-year-old singer wrote: ‘we all tried, hopefully, one day, real change will come’.
Recall that, Davido who actively campaigned prior to the election was not in the country to vote as he has gone to South Africa to shoot a contest show.
He, however, blamed his absence on the fact that the election was postponed from February 16th to February 23rd.
Meanwhile, Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke who currently occupies the Senatorial seat in the Osun West district has lost to Engr Oriolowo Ajibola Basiru of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Senatorial election which took place on Saturday, February 23.
