Coronavirus: FG Not Considering Travel Ban For Now — Health Minister
Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehinare has expressed that the government is not contemplating imposition of travel ban on travellers from any countries over the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.
The Minister made this statement while assuring foreign diplomats of the measures put in place by Nigeria government to contain the spread of the virus.
The minister also said the country has not reached the point of banning large gathering. He said the country is guided by World Health Organisation guideline.
Recall that Denmark is currently on lockdown following in the footstep of Italy to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
