Transfer: Cristiano explains why it would be difficult for Napoli to sign Osimhen
The Sporting Director of Napoli, Cristiano Giuntoli has explained why it would be difficult for the club to sign Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen this summer transfer window.
Cristiano said Osimhen and some other players he mentioned are highly sought after by other bigger clubs thereby making Napoli move almost impossible Napoli.
Napoli has in recent weeks shown interest in the Nigerian striker. Other European clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United are reportedly eying the 21-year-old following his exploits in France.
“Azmoun, Osimhen, Jovic? They are very good, it is difficult to bring them to Naples because they are highly sought after. Everton? He is another footballer very good,” Cristiano told Sky Sports Italia.
“Napoli has shown to have great intelligence on the market and to have become a virtuous reality in the European panorama.”
