Talking of Hushpuppi and Raymond Reddington combined into one individual…

Born in June 30 1946 in Ukraine,,Semion Yudkovich Mogilevich is described by agencies in United States and European Union as the “boss of bosses” of Most Russian Mafia Syndicates in the world…A Russian organized crime boss believed to direct a vast criminal empire and is described by the FBI as the most dangerous mobster in the world.. Ranging from Financial Crimes to weapon trafficking,, contract murders,, extortion,,drug trafficking and even prostitution on an international scale.

Mogilevich joined the old Soviet Union’s Lyubertskaya crime clan in the early 1970s. After his apprenticeship, he started his own syndicate, the Solntsdevo gang. Of Jewish heritage, and once in possession of an Israeli passport, Due to the common persecution of Jews in Russia, Mogilevich stole millions of dollars from Jews seeking to leave Russia for refuge in Israel in the 1980s. He used the proceeds to invest in both criminal and legitimate enterprises…But this isn’t even top 10 of the financial crimes of the “Ancestral Hushpuppi”

In the 1990s, in Canada, he created YBM Magnex International, a supposed magnet manufacturing company based outside Philadelphia. But he never visited Philadelphia, and defrauded investors out of $150 million. “Mogilevich has an economics degree and is deviously clever. “YBM, the Public company Mogilevich created incorporated in Canada, saw its stock price rise some 2,000 percent due to bogus financial records Mogilevich created, bribes to accountants, and lies told to Securities and Exchange (Commission) officials.

Multiple countries charge the “Brainy Don” with some 40 criminal offenses from racketeering to wire fraud, conspiracy, aiding and betting, filing false documents with the SEC and money laundering. He’s also sought for questioning in alleged murder-for-hire schemes and dealing in drugs nd firearms. He was accused in 1999 of using offshore companies to launder $500 million through d Bank of New York. In Ukraine,he’s suspected of taking part in a corrupt deal in 2005 wit high-level politicians 2 import gas into d country 4rm Russia and Asia.

In early 1991, Mogilevich moved to Hungary and married his Hungarian girlfriend Katalin Papp. He had three children with her. He continued to invest in a wide array of enterprises, including buying a local armament factory, “Army Co-Op,” which produced anti-aircraft guns. Mogilevich was also suspected of participation in large-scale tax fraud, where untaxed heating oil was sold as highly taxed car fuel – one of the greatest scandals that broke around 1990–1991. Estimates are that up to one-third of fuels sold went through this scheme, resulting in massive tax losses for various countries of Central Europe (Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia ..)In d Czech Republic d scandal is estimated to have cost d taxpayers around 100 billion CZK (≈US$5 billion)including d attempted assassination of d Journalist who wrote about it.

In 2003, the FBI put Mogilevich on the “Wanted List” for participation in d scheme to defraud investors in YBM Magnex having been previously unsuccessful in an attempt to charge him for Drug trafficking and prostitution. Below are d shots from his indictment by d Justice Dept.

Mogilevich was arrested in Moscow on January 24, 2008, for suspected tax evasion His bail was placed, and he was released on July 24, 2009. On his release, d Russian interior ministry stated that he was released because d charges against him “are not of a particular grave nature”

On October 22, 2009, he was named by the FBI as the 494th fugitive to be placed on the Ten Most Wanted list. In December 2015 he was removed from the list. He had to be eventually removed from the list to this day because the US has no extradition laws with Russia.

U were probably expecting a bad ending for Mogilevich right??unlike every other criminal u know,,he walks freely in Moscow till today because he has friends in the high places( Talk of Raymond Reddington).. Alexander Litvineko a Russian FSB detector, even made accusations of Mogilevich being friends with Putin ,the president of Russia…Litvinenko was assassinated via radiation poisoning shortly after making that claim. Here comes the end of my thread of Simeon Mogilevich.

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun has joined his ancestors after a brief illness.

He joined his ancestors at the age of 81.

It was gathered that the late monarch was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning having stayed indoor throughout Tuesday on account of slight malaria fever, though, he was hail and hearty on Monday during which he personally received few guests that paid him congratulatory visits on his second year anniversary on that day.

Making this announcement was the Baba-Kekere Olubadan and his younger brother, Dr Kola Balogun in a statement by the Personal Assistant (Media) to the late monarch, Oladele Ogunsola.

According to the statement, Dr. Balogun disclosed that Oba Balogun would be buried at his Aliiwo ancestral home by 4.00pm on Friday according to Islamic rites just as he said that the State Governor Seyi Makinde, though already verbally informed, would be formally notified early in the morning.

The late Olubadan was the first most educated to have emerged as Ibadan monarch, a British trained P.hd holder, a former university lecturer, former member of management staff of Shell British Petroleum, former gubernatorial candidate of the defunct Nigeria People’s Party, NPP, former Senator and a successful business man.

His last official outing was the Olubadan Advisory Council’s meeting which he presided over last Saturday where the decision to derobed Mogaji Akinsola, Olawale Oladoja was taken.

He however, on Tuesday instructed the Ekerin Olubadan, Oba Hamidu Ajibade to midwife a small committee to deliberate on last Friday’s decision on what should be the position of Ibadan Zone in the proposed newly reconstituted Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs.

The decision of the small committee was earlier on Thursday ratified by the Olubadan Advisory Council at a meeting presided over by Otun Olubadan and the former governor of Oyo State, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja and was to be taken to the late Oba Balogun for his signature Friday morning so as to meet the deadline for submission to the state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters later in the day.

The late Olubadan is survived by wives, children and grandchildren.

Announcing the passage of the monarch, Governor Makinde, in a statement, stated that Olubadan, who joined his ancestors late Thursday evening at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, described him as an epitome of royal excellence and a great achiever, who made great marks on Ibadanland in just a little over two years of his reign.

He expressed his condolences to the Olubadan-in-Council, the Oyo State Traditional Council and the people of Ibadanland and Oyo State, praying to God to grant repose to the soul of the deceased monarch.

Makinde said: “With total submission to the will of God, I announce the passing unto glory of our father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Mohood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

“A mighty Iroko has fallen; Oba Dr. Balogun has joined the ancestors.

“In Kabiyesi, Ibadanland had a cosmopolitan and well-experienced Olubadan, who made indelible marks on the sands of history and achieved greatly within a short while.

“On behalf of the Government and good People of Oyo State, I condole with the immediate family of the Oba Dr. Balogun, the Olubadan-in-Council, the Oyo State Traditional Council and the people of Ibadanland.

“It is my prayer that God grants repose to the soul of our late monarch.”
