Omoyele Sowore Shot By Police In Abuja
Former Presidential candidate and Sahara Reporters Publisher, Omoyele Sowore has allegedly been shot by police in Abuja, multiple sources confirmed.
The incident happened on Monday morning during a protest against insecurity at the Unity Fountain in the Federal Capital Territory.
We learnt that Sowore sustained an injury from the shot and has been rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.
Human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong confirmed the development on Twitter.
Other protesters have taken to social media to corroborate the story.
