After spending much of the past years focused on entrepreneur, Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs, the US hip-hop mogul, has announced his return to the music space with an upcoming album titled ‘Off The Grid Vol. 1’.

In an Instagram post yesterday, the 51-year-old singer and rapper revealed that the new project will be released in September.

Diddy also accompanied the post with a caption that read: “OFF THE GRID The Album September 24, 2021. Welcome to the LOVE ERA!.”

‘Off the Grid Vol. 1’, Diddy’s fifth project, is coming on the back of four critically successful albums which include ‘No Way Out’ (1997), ‘Forever’ (1999), ‘The Saga Continues’ (2001), and ‘Press Play’ (2006).

The forthcoming album also marks Diddy’s first full-length effort since 2015’s ‘MMM (Money Making Mitch)’ — a 16-track mixtape that saw a slew of contributions from many top singers including Sevyn Streeter, Jadakiss, Styles P, Pusha T, Lil’ Kim, Future, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Travis Scott, and Ty Dolla $ign.

Diddy, who recently changed his middle name to ‘Love’, founded Bad Boy Records, a music label that discovered and developed The Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige and Usher.

He has won a plethora of awards including 3 Grammys and two MTV Video Music Awards, amongst other several recognition.
