Kim Kardashian to retain Kanye West’s surname despite divorce
Kim Kardashian is reportedly keeping the name West despite divorcing Kanye who is now her ex-husband.
Kanye had earlier separated from Kim after she filed for divorce last February — after seven years of marriage.
They agreed to joint custody of their kids—North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2—without spousal support.
Kanye later filed to legally change his name to Ye, his long-time two-lettered sobriquet, due to “personal reasons”.
But according to TMZ, sources close to Kim have said the reality TV personality is not doing any name change.
The sources claimed Kim feels it is important for her to keep the same last name as their four children.
The partners had jointly attended the listening party for ‘Donda’, Kanye’s 10th album which is yet to be released.
