The renowned clergy and Esther Blaize, his wife, had touched down at the airport in the federal capital territory (FCT) on Wednesday ahead of the crusade.

They thereafter departed the airport in the limousine car to the venue of the event where they were welcomed by officials and members of the ministry.

“I just touched down at Abuja and there is excitement in the air. I am also excited because God has promised to give His children, Divine Solution,” he wrote on Facebook.

“Don’t forget to connect to the program on all my social media handles. I look forward to seeing you at the Divine Solution Crusade. Please, don’t miss it.”

The crusade, titled ‘Divine Solution For All’, is billed to commence on September 24 and end on October 3.

Nathaniel Bassey, Nigerian gospel singer, is among those enlisted to minister at the much-awaited event.

Kumuyi’s choice of a luxurious car has, however, elicited different reactions, with many users sharing contrasting views on Twitter.

Some Twitter users had tackled the cleric for using such vehicle, citing his teachings which they said often focus on modest lifestyle.

But other users argued that there was nothing wrong with his decision to use a luxurious vehicle.

“We can’t call out our Politicians and exonerate our religious leaders. Just saw this footage of Kumuyi pulling up in a Limousine for a crusade…These people are living off poor masses… To even think its these same man that talked down on material things….” a user wrote.

Mike Bamiloye slams female ministers for neglecting husbands

Pastor Mike Bamiloye, Founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, has raised concerns about the frequent travels of some female ministers who often leave their husbands alone for extended periods.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Bamiloye highlighted the challenges faced by these husbands, who are left to manage the local church alone while their wives undertake ministry trips.

According to Pastor Bamiloye, these female ministers often enjoy luxurious accommodations and sumptuous meals during their trips, while their husbands cope with loneliness and isolation at home.

Bamiloye wrote, “There is a class of female ministers who never stay home with their husbands. They travel everywhere, staying in hotels and suites as they minister, enjoying the best of sumptuous meals provided by their hosts, while their husbands remain at home, managing the local church alone.”

He also noted that when these husbands try to express concerns or set boundaries, they are sometimes accused of stifling their wives’ visions and callings.

He added, “They can be away on ministrations for two or three months, ‘preaching’ the gospel around the world, while their husbands languish at home, relying on cousins, nephews, or housemaids for meals.

“When the husband tries to stop them or reduce their frequent ‘mission’ trips, they accuse him of killing their visions and suppressing their callings.

“They often stand behind pulpits, introducing their sermons with praises for their husbands: ‘I bring you greetings from my husband, the owner of my head, the payer of my dowry, without whom I would not be here today. He sends his warm greetings,’ even while the man is suffering in loneliness at home.”

Many pastors not enjoying marriage… they’re just enduring it, says Mike Bamiloye

Mike Bamiloye has claimed that several pastors are currently enduring their marriages rather than enjoying them.

In a post via social media, the founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries International spoke about wives who make their marriages difficult.

He said some pastors’ wives believe they can use their husbands’ spiritual calling to manipulate them.

He said they assume that their husbands cannot resort to physical abuse or divorce due to their religious obligations.

Bamiloye referred to this behaviour as a form of “blackmail”.

“Several women believe that a pastor cannot be at them like unbelievers or divorce them at will. They use the man’s calling/ministry to blackmail him. Several pastors are not enjoying their marriage but enduring it,” he wrote.

This is not the first time Bamiloye has spoken on marriage-related issues.

Last year, he argued that many women in this generation are not prepared for marriage.

He also tackled Christian women who deny their husbands intimacy, describing such actions as “unsubmissive and insensitive”.

Bamiloye is also a filmmaker and the founder of Mount Zion Television.

He has been married to Gloria Bamiloye, a Nigerian actress and evangelist, since October 8, 1988.

TD Jakes, bishop of The Potter’s House, a megachurch in the United States, suffered a health scare after delivering a sermon on Sunday.

As Jakes rounded off his sermon with a prayer, social media videos showed how his movements slowed.

“The meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, oh Lord,” Jakes prayed amid laboured breaths.

“My strength and my redeemer, let them go in peace,” he added with his head bowed while slowly lowering the microphone.

Soon afterwards, the bishop’s head began to bob back and forth as his body jerked awkwardly.

Church officials ran towards him to prevent an imminent collapse.

In a statement on Facebook, The Potter’s House said the renowned pastor and author received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.

“The entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community. Thank you for your understanding and continued prayers,” the statement added.

The church did not share if Jakes was hospitalised following the incident or what may have caused it.
