President Buhari Appoints Fatima Waziri-Azi As NAPTIP DG
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Fatima Waziri-Azi as the director-general of the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
Waziri-Azi takes over from Basheer Mohammed, the former NAPTIP DG.
The appointment was confirmed in a statement signed by Garba Shehu, senior special assistant on media and publicity to the president, today.
Sadiya Farouq, minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, was said to have recommended Waziri-Azi for the appointment.
