Enugu state govt bans unauthorised social and sporting activities in public schools
The Enugu State Government, on Monday, banned unauthorised use of public educational institutions for social and sporting activities.
The ban is contained in a Public Service Announcement issued by the State Commissioner for Education, Prof Uche Eze, titled, ‘Use of public schools in Enugu State for social and sporting activities.’
The statement with ref ENS/MOE/COM/241/IV/226, dated 17/12/2021 and made available to journalists today, read in part, “The Enugu State Government in pursuit of quality education for her citizens has invested heavily in the construction, renovation and equipping of educational institutions at the basic, secondary and tertiary levels.
