Tolanibaj says it’s rude for a man to walk through a door before a lady
Tolanibaj has attracted criticism on social media after she berated men who walk through doors before their women.
The reality TV star made a case for chivalry in a rather controversial tweet via her official Twitter handle yesterday.
In the tweet, the ex-BBNaija housemate questioned the upbringing of men who disregard such a gesture as chivalry.
She said she considers it rude for men to walk through doors before ladies, as against getting the doors for their women.
“I find it rude when a man walks through a door before a lady. Who raised you?” she wrote.
Tolanibaj’s tweet has continued to generate backlash, especially from social media users who considered it “wrongly timed”.
