Zainab Balogun narrates how endometriosis caused her pain for 20 years
Zainab Balogun Nwachukwu, the Nigerian actress, has opened up about her struggle with endometriosis, a medical condition.
Endometriosis is a disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus. The tissue can be found on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or the intestines.
The most common symptoms are pain and menstrual irregularities.
On Thursday, Balogun took to her Instagram page to disclose that she has been enduring “excruciating pain” for more than twenty years.
The 32-year-old British-Nigerian film star also revealed that she was already in stage 4 before she was accurately diagnosed.
