BNXN is not better than me, Ruger boasts on Twitter
Ruger, the Nigerian singer, has boasted that Daniel Benson, his colleague better know as BNXN, is not better than him.
The superiority debate between the pair started on Thursday when Ruger held an interactive Twitter session with his fans.
During the session, the ‘Bounce’ crooner told his fans to ask him anything and promised to provide the answer.
A Twitter user asked if D Prince, the singer and music executive, has ever told him that BNXN is a better artiste that him.
“Has D’Prince told you bnxn is your grand dad musically?#AskRuger,” he asked.
The Twitter user’s question came after Ruger earlier boasted of his relationship with D’Prince and how the record label boss often commend his works.
“I’m so happy anytime I send@ DPRINCEMAVIN new music and he calls me immediately to tell me “Ruger this is a jam” he’s got the best ears in this industry no one can ever deny that,” Ruger had tweeted.
Reacting, the singer slammed the user and called him a “fool”. He also accompanied his response with a screenshot of his chat, believed to be with D’Prince.
Joining the debate, another Twitter user insisted that BNXN is better than Ruger, adding that “there’s nothing he can do about that.”
“Lol BNXN is better than you and there’s nothing you can do about it you this low budget Samuel L Jackson,” the user wrote.
But Ruger fired back at the user. The ‘Dior’ singer said while he loves BNXN, he is not better than him.
“I love Buju he’s good but he’s not better than me. Everything I’ve done since the beginning was only Ruger. All my hits are just Ruger. I’m always proud going on stage around the world with my own hits and everyone is singing along. You see the difference?” he replied.

Despite feud, Peter Okoye celebrates Paul on 43rd birthday
Peter ‘Mr P’ Okoye, the Nigerian singer, has celebrated Paul ‘Rudeboy’ Okoye, his twin brother, on their 43rd birthday amid their ongoing feud.
The twin brothers have been in the public eyes since their second fallout in August.
They had their first rift in 2017 which led to the dissolution of Psquare, their music brand. Though they reunited in November 2021, their reconciliation was short-lived.
Paul recently revealed another fallout, accusing Peter of orchestrating his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Peter, however, denied the allegations and accused Jude Okoye, their older brother, of diverting millions of dollars from their joint account into a secret company.
Responding to the accusations, Jude said he had done everything possible, even “sacrificing himself,” to mend the rift between his brothers.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Peter shared several photos showcasing their growth over the years.
He also celebrated their birthday while wishing himself as well as his twin brother more wins.

Tiwa Savage calls out Wizkid fan for bullying
Wizkid’s group of fans collectively known as “Wizkid FC” are popular for their vehement support for Wizkid and their antagonism toward those considered his rivals.
Tiwa Savage is the latest artist to call out Wizkid FC for harassment after some members of the fanbase mocked her for releasing a song on the same day as Wizkid.
On November 15, 2024, Ruger released his new song ‘Toma Toma’ featuring Tiwa Savage which she shared on her Instagram page with the caption “Told yall this one is special. The @rugerofficial called and I answered”.
In response, a Wizkid fan said “Dey play, nothing special pass Wizzy hits”.
The reply rubbed off wrongly on Tiwa Savage who said “Because I am promoting music? WTF…y’all are not fans anymore ooo you guys are actual bullies”.

Daddy Freeze, Akah Nnani clash over Emmanuel Iren
Daddy Freeze, the media personality, has reacted to actor Akah Nnani’s call for prayer for him.
The controversy began when Peter Obi, former Anambra governor, urged Nigerians to prioritise work over vigils in order to improve productivity.
Emmanuel Iren, founder of Celebration Church International, opposed Obi’s advice, prompting Freeze to criticize the cleric for defending night vigils and claiming he supported the practice because it is his “source of income”.
In a now-viral video, Nnani described Freeze as a “lost soul” dealing with “church hurt”
The actor also urged Christians to pray for the media personality. Nnani claimed the Holy Spirit instructed him to pray for Freeze.
“This is not a usual video and I believed that I was told to do it and I didn’t want to procrastinate. It happened randomly, I was praying and the holy spirit says pray for Daddy Freeze,” he said.
“It came on my radar couple of days ago when he picked on a pastor I love, care about and I know he is a genuine man of God.
“I could have responded out of anger but I decided not to but in my prayer time the holy spirit just told me to pray for him. I believe as Christians if we pray more for people than attack we would see more results.
“So I’m going to call on every Christians to join me as I pray for Daddy Freeze and everyone dealing with church hurt.”
Freeze responded, arguing that Obi’s opinion on vigils is “valid”. He suggested that Nnani “needs the prayer more”.
The media personality also implied that Iren’s defense of night vigils is “self-serving”.
“Dear Akah, pray for Iren and for yourself. You need it more. Peter Obi made a valid point about night vigils,” he wrote.
“Iren tried defending his enterprise. All Iren’s boys are now running kata kiti trying to defend the indefensible.”
