Davido rocks ‘imole lokan’ crested agbada as he arrives Osun for Adeleke (Video)
David Adeleke, the singer better known as Davido, has made a tumultuous entry into Ede in Osun ahead of the state’s gubernatorial election.
The election is billed to hold on Saturday.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Thursday, the ‘OBO’ crooner is seen clad in a crested agbada and a cap as he moves with a crowd of supporters.
The outfit bears a Yoruba inscription — ‘imole lokan’ — which loosely translates in English to “it’s the turn of light”.
“No intimidation, no violence, no retreat, no surrender. Imolede Osunguber2022, Awalokan,” he wrote on Instagram.
