‘I’m waiting for my turn’ — Nkechi Blessing woos Ooni of Ife
Nkechi Blessing, the Nollywood actress, has joked about becoming the seventh wife of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife.
The monarch has been in the news in recent times for marrying several wives.
On Monday, the Ooni took Temitope Adesegun, the Ijebu princess, as his sixth wife.
The development has continued to elicit reactions on social media platforms.
Joining the conversation, Blessing took to her Instagram page on Saturday where she shared a photo of herself with the monarch at an event.
In a terse post accompanying the photo, the actress said “I am patiently waiting for my turn”.
“Ooni of ife sir, I am patiently waiting for my turn..thank you in advance sir,” she wrote.
