Pheelz debunks losing hard drive containing 25 unreleased songs of Temmie Ovwasa
Pheelz, the music producer, has reacted to claims made against him by Temmie Ovwasa, a former signee of YBNL, a label run by Olamide, the Nigerian rapper.
Pheelz has had to work with YBNL and its owner Olamide in the past as a record producer.
His breakthrough came in 2012 when he produced Olamide’s chart-topping tracks ‘First of All’ and ‘Fucking with the Devil’.
Ovwasa had accused Pheelz of carelessly misplacing a hard drive that contained over 25 of her unreleased songs while with YBNL.
“I recorded over 25 songs and Pheelz opened his wide mouth to tell me he misplaced the hard drive. 25 songs!” Ovwasa said.
In response, Pheelz on Saturday refuted the claim, stating that they only worked on four to five songs together.
He cautioned the singer against “disrespecting” his name by “spreading lies” for social media clout.
Pheelz also suggested that she listen to ‘Jelo’, his new single, if she needs a mood lift.
“We never worked on more than 4-5 records. Hard drive lost? Lmao. Don’t ever disrespect my name,” his tweet partly reads.
Born Phillip Kayode Moses, Pheelz began producing music at the age of 12.
He has worked with some of the biggest names in Nigerian music, including Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, and Fireboy DML.
He is signed to Warner Records and has received several recognitions for his craft.
