Singer Mohbad is dead
Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, the fast-rising Nigerian singer better known as Mohbad, is dead.
Joey Ovie, the music executive, confirmed the singer’s demise in a post on X.
“Confirmed. Mohbad is dead. Sad, sad day, RIP,” he wrote, alongside a photo of Mohbad.
It was gathered that Mohbad passed away in the early hours of Tuesday.
The cause of the 27-year-old rapper’s death is, however, yet to be known.
Mohbad is a former artiste of Marlian Records, which is owned by Naira Marley.
