A Lagos coroner court sitting in Ikorodu has summoned Primeboy, Naira Marley, and Sam Larry over the death of Mohbad.

On Friday, Adedayi, Shotibi, the coroner magistrate, directed that the trio should appear before the court on October 25.

The summon is on the back of the ongoing inquest to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad.

The coroner asked the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCID) in Panti to make sure the three suspects are present in court on October 25.

The coroner’s order came after taking submissions from interested parties in the matter.

Mohbad died on September 12 and was buried the next day.

The circumstances surrounding his death have continued to stir up controversies on social media.

Several suspects — including Feyisola Ogedengbe, Naira Marley, Sam Larry and Primeboy — are currently in police custody with respect to the investigation into Mohbad’s death.

Thousands of Nigerians have demanded justice for Mohbad in nationwide protests.

On September 21, the police exhumed Mohbad’s corpse for autopsy and are awaiting the results.

Last week, the police in Lagos named Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who injected Mohbad, as “the prime suspect” in the singer’s death.

Idowu Owohunwa, the Lagos state police commissioner, said the “auxiliary nurse administered multiple and highly potent injections which triggered an immediate reaction that eventually occasioned the death of Mohbad”.

The commissioner said the injections, consisting of tetanus toxoid, paracetamol, and ceftriaxone injection (IV) were administered at Mohbad’s residence.

Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has highlighted seven key things he believes Nigerians should avoid amid the current economic crises in Nigeria, laying particular emphasis on pregnancy.

In an Instagram post made on October 17, 2024, Agu stressed the importance of making prudent choices during these tough times.

“Here is a list of things to watch out for, the way things are going in our country today. Number one, try not to fall sick if possible,” he advised, emphasising the increasing difficulties of accessing healthcare amid economic instability.

The actor continued, “Number two, make sure your phone is in good shape and ensure your data is active. Number three, make sure you drink plenty of water and healthy food, that is, if there is food to eat.”

Humorously, Agu repeatedly listed pregnancy as the top thing to avoid, saying, “Number 4, no give woman belle o, for this hard time. Number 5, avoid cases that would land you in prison. Number 6, observe rule number four, no give woman belle o. Number 7 is always listen to rule number 4, no vibe woman belle o. And finally, which is the most important, pray to God.”

The actor’s post received equally humorous comments from Instagram users who agreed with his list.

One user wrote, “NO GIVE WOMAN BELLE OOOO… I say make I highlight am for capital letters 😂”

“If you like go and say ‘Children will bring financial blessings,’ you’ll cry more than the baby. You better think about the future of your kids, if you’re not financially and mentally prepared to have kids, don’t ever bring an innocent child into this world to suffer!!” another person wrote.

“No do watin go land you for police station,” another person emphasised.
