Portable signs Femzy Jay to Zeh Nation
Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has signed a new artiste named Femzy Jay to Zeh Nation, his record label.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Portable described Femzy Jay as an artiste with “glory”.
He also shared a snippet of their collaborative song.
“Kini ma fa ja. Kini ma go fa. O de pada. Your father has come again. Street Don jazzy. Idamu industry. It is God. The people’s rich man. Do not break the ladder. Never break the ladder. You do not understand? Because if you break the ladder, many people see one, dem still need the ladder. Omo iru e. Let them see it,” Portable said in a mixture of Yoruba and pidgin English.
“That ladder you just climbed. Many people still want am. Never break the ladder. Do not lose from the plug. Always gain from the plug. Do not lose from the plug. Can you hear me?
“Zeh Nation many many inspirations. We are many with glory. I have glory. My artistes have glory. The person I have signed is glorious. Omo ta fe blow, there is no more time.”

‘Thank you for keeping me since 1942’ — Mama Rainbow writes God
Idowu Phillips, the ace Nigerian actress better known as Mama Rainbow, has penned an open letter of gratitude to God.
The veteran recently took to her Instagram page to share the heartfelt letter alongside footage from her 82nd birthday photoshoot in October.
In the letter, Mama Rainbow appreciated God for her life, acknowledging His guidance and protection since her birth in 1942.
“Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and humility. Thank You for saving my life and guiding me through every moment since 1942 until this very day,” she wrote.
Mama Rainbow also expressed gratitude to God for His unwavering presence, love, and mercy, which have sustained her through every trial and triumph.
“Your grace, love, and mercy have sustained me through every trial and triumph. Thank You, Father, for Your unwavering presence, for lifting me when I was weak, and for blessing me with the strength to keep moving forward. I am forever grateful for Your protection and faithfulness,” she added.

Tacha announces relocation to UK
Tacha Akide, the former Big Brother Naija (BBN) housemate, has announced that she is relocating to the United Kingdom.
In a post via X on Monday, the reality TV star sought divine guidance as she embarks on the new journey, saying: “Relocating to the UK. So help me God”.

Tope Adebayo speaks on his ‘best director’ win at BON Awards
Tope Adebayo, the Nigerian filmmaker and actor, has expressed excitement about winning the ‘best director’ category at the 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.
The annual award ceremony was held on Sunday, November 24, at the Sugar Factory Film Studios in Ilorin, Kwara.
Tope was awarded for his outstanding work on Femi Adebayo’s epic film, ‘Jagun Jagun: The Warrior’.
His win was part of a successful night for ‘Jagun Jagun: The Warrior’ which clinched six categories.
Speaking with TheCable Lifestyle at the event, Tope, Femi’s younger brother, described the win as a “big surprise”.
The movie director revealed he was not too hopeful about receiving the award. He said despite having high expectations for a long time, he was thrilled that his hard work finally paid off.
“I feel so excited because I’ve been expecting this for a very long time. I do not know why it was this delayed but thank God finally that I did it,” he said.
“Not really because you know I was hoping I could not get it. So today I was just in between, I was not really sure of it. When my name was called, I did not even know what to say. It came as a surprise, big surprise.”
‘Jagun Jagun: The Warrior’ won awards for ‘Best Actor’, ‘Best Costume’, ‘Best Indigenous Film’, ‘Best Production Design’, ‘Best Director’, and ‘Best Special Effect’.
