Oyo chef, Tope Maggie begins 200-hour cooking marathon to break World Record
Tope Maggie, the chef based in Ogbomoso, Oyo, has embarked on a 200-hour cooking marathon to set a new world record.
Maggie announced the cooking marathon attempt in an Instagram post on Thursday evening.
He also shared several pictures and videos while requesting support for his new stint.
In an accompanying flier, Tope revealed that the cooking marathon is taking place at the Ogbomoso Recreation Club, Ogbomoso.
Tope began the attempt on Thursday at 6 pm.
The flier also suggested that the chef has sought the approval of the Guinness World Records (GWR).
As of the time of this report, Tope has surpassed 10 hours of cooking.
