Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ is my song of the year, says Rihanna
Rihanna, the award-winning Barbadian music star, has named Unavailable, a song by Davido, the Afrobeats star, as her favourite for 2023.
The 9-time Grammy winner spoke about her top projects of the year during an interview with Complex at a recent event for her fashion brand, Fenty.
The megastar was asked to name her album of the year. She, however, disclosed that she was not an “album girl”.
She thereafter named ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Mnike’ by Tyler ICU and Tumelo as her joint song of the year.
“Album of the year? Am I an album girl? Or am I a streaming single girl?” she asked.
“‘Unavailable’ (by Davido featuring Musa Keys) on repeat. That and ‘Mnike’ (by Tyler ICU and Tumelo) are my song of the year.”
Reacting to the now-viral clip, Davido wrote: “My Ri Ri”.

The development comes at about the same time when Rihanna was seen dancing to the hit song ‘Unavailable’.
In a now-viral video, she was seen swinging her hands as she was flanked by A$AP Rocky, her partner, and members of her Fenty team.
