Kate Henshaw speaks on relationship with Genevieve Nnaji, says ‘she pulls away from everyone’
Kate Henshaw, the Nigerian actress, has opened up on her relationship with Genevieve Nnaji, her colleague.
During a recent chat with Chude Jideonwo, Henshaw said they have had some misunderstandings, although not significant.
Henshaw said she loves Nnaji but the actress has the habit of occasionally withdrawing from people.
She added that she admires her independence and compared her to Angelina Jolie, the US film star.
“Genevieve, we have had our issues but not big issues you know,” Henshaw said.
“I have loved her. You know sometimes she pulls away. She pulls away from everybody and you’re like, ‘Am I smelling?’
“We met at a Netflix shoot, they took a few of us, Genevieve and I from Nigeria, so we went to shoot a commercial ‘This is Netflix’.
“Before then, we had not seen, we had not spoken for years and she was so nice to me.
“And then she left the set before us and then she said, ‘Kate I have gone, just wanna say goodbye’,
“You know but I respect her because, I think she is like an Angelina Jolie, just want to be on your own.”
