Burna Boy addresses confusion on release date of 8th album
Burna Boy, the award-winning Nigerian singer, has addressed the confusion trailing his eighth studio album release.
The singer earlier revealed that he would deliver his new album at midnight, implying July 30.
“Album dropping by 12am,” he had written on July 29.
The post came as a shock to many of his followers. Music lovers were also “disappointed” after the ‘African Giant’ hitmaker failed to release the project as expected.
But in a post via X on Sunday, Burna Boy clarified that he never specified the album’s release date.
He said he only mentioned the time. He added that the post should serve as “a valuable lesson to pay attention to detail”.
“Ladies and gentlemen, A valuable lesson on paying attention to detail. I said 12am, I never said what date. No be say I whine una o Na una Lose guard,” he wrote.
