Rita Edochie calls out women who undergo butt lift surgery
Rita Edochie, the ace Nigerian actress, has berated women who underwent Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgery.
BBL is a surgery involving fat transfer from one’s belly, hips, lower back, or thighs to their buttocks.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the movie star, who is married to Tony, a younger brother to ace actor Pete Edochie, argued that women who underwent butt enlargement procedures may face dire consequences when they no longer have the financial capability to maintain it.
Edochie also cautioned women intending to go under the knife to enhance their physical appearances to reconsider their choices.
“I boldly and fearlessly come to tell you not to join this BBL gang of a thimg if you are planning to,” she wrote.
“Those that have done it, your days are numbered. You will definitely eat your own tears for every pain you caused yourself.
“God Almighty must lick you in that pain for recreating His creation in you and until you stop recreating his creation, “Ụnụ ga na-anụ ụda ya, maka nau will all hear the sound of it, because…”. Money will run far away from you so you can not maintain it.
“For all those men they are doing it for, trust me it does not take God a minute to destroy every tower of iniquity. Keep seeing a spade and calling it a shovel, keep seeing what is black and tagging it white. God does not sleep.”

Speed Darlington gets bail after one month in detention
Speed Darlington, the Nigerian rapper, has been granted bail after nearly a month in police custody.
The rapper was arrested on November 27 while performing at a show in Owerri, Imo state.
Deji Adeyanju, a human rights lawyer, had alleged that Burna Boy, the Afrofusion star, was responsible for the rapper’s arrest.
Darlington had taunted Burna Boy over his affiliation with the embattled US rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ who is facing multiple charges for sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
He asked Burna Boy to explain how he won the Grammy award for his album ‘Twice As Tall’ — a project executive produced by Diddy. He claimed there was a sexual relationship between the duo.
Stan Alieke, the legal representative of Darlington, earlier revealed that weeks after the rapper’s arrest, the police had denied him access to bail.
The lawyer also called on the law enforcement agency not to “trample on my client’s constitutional rights”.
But in an Instagram post on Monday, Alieke disclosed that his client had been granted bail.
“Apki has been granted bail by the court,” he wrote without including much information.
