Skales, the Nigerian singer, has revealed that he regrets not having baby mamas.

In an interview with BET Africa, the artiste disclosed that after his mother’s passing, he felt the weight of continuing his family’s bloodline.

“Right now, I regret not having baby mamas, I really regret because I’m the only person in my family bloodline that is alive right now,” he said.

“So, the whole bloodline relies on me to produce right now when my mom died was when I realised that there is not much of my bloodline.”

Skales lost his mother in October 2022.

He married Precious Njeng-Njeng and the couple welcomed their first child in March 2023, almost two years after their May 2021 wedding.

Earlier this year, the singer compared himself to the biblical figure King Solomon, revealing that he has dated around 100 women.

Skales, who began writing rap songs in 2000, has collaborated with several music stars, including Akon, Banky W, and Falz.

In April, he teamed up with Akon for ‘Kowope’, a song celebrating hard workers.

Last year, Skales spoke about the challenges he faced after parting ways with Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), a label owned by Banky W.

The rapper also reflected on being born into a poor family and how he engaged in several menial jobs to get money.

“Growing up was really though. It was depressing then because things my peers could afford, I couldn’t. As a kid then, I felt bad,” he added.

“I did a lot of things back then just to get money including helping other students with their homework. I came a very poor family.”

Following the viral video of Nollywood actress Ini Edo in a traditional Efik bridal piece and the speculation that followed, she has debunked the reports that she is getting married.

During an interview with the Premium Times newspaper, when asked if she was looking forward to a real fairytale wedding in the future, the mother-of-one stressed that marriage is not in her prayer points at all.

She clarified, “I’m not crazy about marriage; I’m crazy about having a solid relationship. I’m not hoping, and it’s not any of my prayer points.”

Recall that the actress was previously married to Nigerian-American businessman Philip Ehiagwina, whom she married on November 29, 2008, but their marriage ended in divorce in 2014. Their split was riddled with controversy and numerous speculations, so much so that the actress took to social media to clear her name and reputation. Especially due to the stories claiming that she was unfaithful to her ex-husband.

Ini Edo said, “Let me be frank with you, I have not spoken with anybody concerning the breakup of my marriage. And I am not going to say anything about it. It’s my past and I have put it where it belongs. So, let it remain like that.”

“I don’t care whatever people might have said or written as the cause of the breakup; that’s their business. I have not granted anybody any interview and I won’t do that. It’s my private life, you guys should please let me be,” she added.

The family of Saidi Balogun has broken their silence following the passing of his daughter Zeenat on October 5.

In a recent statement released by Jamal Balogun, the actor’s son, the family expressed gratitude for the public’s support during the difficult time.

The statement described Zeenat as “a warrior who gave her life” and “an embodiment of joy, acceptance, and resilience”.

“Zeenat Jolade Balogun was a warrior who gave life her all. She was the embodiment of joy, acceptance, and resilience. More than anything else, she was HOPE, as she was a die-hard believer in the phrase “never give up”,” the statement reads in part.

“She had the wisdom of a family matriarch, guiding the family only with love. Zeenat extended genuine friendship to everyone she encountered, no matter the circumstances of the acquaintance. All these loving qualities she shared with so many people serve as her lasting legacy.

“Her parting words were, “Ko de wa ri be ooo, in time, popsy mo ma change,” an imitation of a family staff member.”

On his part, Saidi also expressed appreciation for the kindness shown to his family.

He added that the love and support from friends, neighbors, and even those they hadn’t seen in years have been a constant source of strength.

“We have been deeply moved by the overwhelming care, the heartfelt messages, and the many condolence visits. Your presence, prayers, and acts of kindness have truly touched our hearts,” he captioned the post.

“The love and support from friends, neighbours, and even those we have not seen in years have been a constant source of strength.

“Your compassion has made this challenging period more bearable, and for that, we are immensely grateful.”

Falz, the Nigerian singer, has shared his unsuccessful attempts at engaging in threesomes.

A threesome is when three people engage in sexual activities with each other.

Speaking on the Over The Top show, the ‘Ndi Ike’ singer disclosed that he attempted a threesome twice but it did not go well on both occasions.

Falz said he sought professional help to understand why his threesome experiences were unsuccessful. The 33-year-old said he was told the problem was because he was “planning it”.

The rapper said he was also advised to allow the act to happen spontaneously.

“What might be interesting to note is that I have only attempted it twice and on both occasions, they did not really go well. To answer your question, the last time was about two years ago or so,” he said.

“This is because, after that second time, I was like I give up. I also spoke to some professionals and they said to me that the problem is that you are planning it. They said just let it happen.”
