Shatta Bandle welcomes second child
Shatta Bandle, the Ghanaian socialite, has welcomed his second child.
The socialite announced the baby’s arrival via an Instagram post on Wednesday. He also shared photos of the newborn while expressing his excitement.
“Congratulations to myself,” he wrote without revealing the baby’s gender, name and date of birth.
The identity of the baby’s mother is also unknown.
Bandle welcomed his first child in September 2022 and also held the naming ceremony in a grand style.
Bandle, whose real name is Firdaus Iddrisu, is popular for flaunting wealth and showing off cash, houses, and cars on social media.
The internet sensation, who suffers from a genetic or medical condition called dwarfism, is also popular for making “outrageous” claims.
The comic actor, born in Karaga, the northern region of Ghana, once told his followers that he intends to sign Davido and Wizkid, two critically acclaimed Nigerian Afropop stars, to his record label.
Bandle became popular on social media platforms in 2019 after he started to challenge the billionaire status of Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man.
Aside from being a socialite, Bandle has also been featured in movies and music videos. He starred in Wale Ojo’s movie ‘This is not a Nollywood Movie’.

Ex-One Direction member Liam Payne dies after fall from hotel balcony
Liam Payne, the former One Direction member, has passed away.
The 31-year-old singer was found dead on Wednesday after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
According to AP, Payne fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur Hotel in the Palermo neighbourhood of the Argentine capital. The songwriter sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pablo Policicchio, the communications director for the Buenos Aires Security Ministry, confirmed that Payne had jumped from the balcony of his hotel room.
Police were called to the hotel in response to an emergency call just after 5 p.m. local time. The hotel manager reported that Payne was behaving erratically and potentially under the influence of substances.
Payne joined One Direction in 2010 at the age of 16.
The group became the biggest boyband in the world after their 2010 launch on ‘The X Factor’. The band broke up in 2015.
In June 2021, the singer disclosed his struggles with alcohol and prescription drug addiction during One Direction’s tours.
He also revealed that he had experienced severe suicidal thoughts at one point.
Recent reports had surfaced about Maya Henry, Payne’s ex-fiancée, alleging that he
pressured her to get an abortion and had broken off their engagement.

Bimbo Akintola reveals why she’s unmarried at 54
Bimbo Akintola, the ace Nigerian actress, has revealed why she remained unmarried at age 54.
In a recent interview with colleague Emmanuel Ehumadu, the actress said she is still single because the man she could have spent her life with passed away.
“He died… the person I could have done forever with is gone,” the film star said.
Akintola stated that she will not yield to societal pressures to marry. The film star said she believes in marriage but has not found anyone she can connect with on the same level since losing her soulmate.
The actress also questioned the sources of income of some of her colleagues.
Born on May 5, 1970, Akintola is a graduate of the University of Ibadan (UI), where she earned a degree in Theatre Arts.
She made her acting debut in 1995 in the iconic film ‘Owo Blow’, alongside Femi Adebayo, and rose to fame after ‘Out of Bounds’ (1997) which featured Richard Mofe-Damijo.
Akintola has received numerous awards and accolades for her talent. She earned a nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2013 Nollywood Movies Awards.
The movie star won the Best Actress category at the 2015 Eko International Film Festival for her role in ‘Heaven’s Hell’.

Yoruba actor Ayobami Olabiyi is dead
Ayobami Mudashir Olabiyi, the Nigerian actor famous in the Yoruba film industry, is dead.
Bose Akinola, the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria’s (TAMPAN) governor in Oyo, confirmed Olabiyi’s demise in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
“I have a directive of the Oyo state TAMPAN governor, her excellency Yeye Bose Akinola to announce the death of our TAMPAN National general secretary, Chief Alhaji Musadshir Ayobami Olabiyi ‘Bobo B’,” the statement reads.
“May God give his family and the entire TAMPAN members globally the fortitude to bear the loss. Insha Allah, Amen.”
Although the cause of death was however not revealed, Olabiyi was buried on Wednesday in Ibadan, according to Islamic rites.
