‘Cubana Chief Priest abandoned me, our son for 2 years’ — Kenyan lady, Hellen Mutimu cries out

A Kenyan lady identified as Hellen Mutimu has opened up about her alleged affair with Cubana Chief Priest, the Nigerian socialite.

Footage of Mutimu claiming she has a son with Cubana recently surfaced on social media.

In the clip, she alleged that she and her child have been homeless since 2023 and that her efforts to reach the socialite have been unsuccessful.

“I just need my baby to have a better life. He is now two years old. I have no place to stay, no money to feed him and I can’t afford to send him to school,” she said.

In an interview with content creator Lucky Udu on Monday, Mutimu recounted how she allegedly met Cubana in Lagos in April 2022 and became pregnant with his child.

She claimed after childbirth, she made several attempts to contact the entrepreneur, but he “blocked all avenues of communication”.

Mutimu also appreciated actress Tonto Dikeh and Burna Boy for financially supporting her.

“One evening I went to a restaurant in Victoria Island for dinner, where I met Pascal, my baby’s father,” she said.

“After a brief conversation, we exchanged numbers and I returned to my apartment. The next day, he called me and we met again at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos. We talked, had some drinks and then parted ways. Nothing happened between us at that point.

“I had no idea he was a prominent figure in Nigeria. I was new to the country and no one told me who he was. He didn’t mention being married and introduced himself as Pascal Okechukwu, not Chief Priest.

“After we became intimate, I started feeling unwell two weeks later. I was vomiting, so I took a test and discovered I was pregnant. I informed him and he congratulated me. He promised to take care of me and assured me not to worry.

“When I asked if he was married, he avoided the question. Later, I found out who he was from a bouncer at the restaurant, and my friend confirmed he was Cubana Chief Priest, a married man with two children.

“I told him I was a single mother with a son. He said it wasn’t an issue and reassured me. He suggested I return to Kenya, promising we’d stay in touch. I stayed in Nigeria until June, I was two months pregnant by then.

“I asked him for money to abort the pregnancy but he delayed and told me not to rush. He asked me to keep the child and I agreed.

“Two months later when my pregnancy became noticeable, I asked him again about the money. He told me not to worry and promised to send money for my return to Kenya. But two weeks after I got back to Kenya, he blocked me.

“I used to own a salon but when I left for Nigeria my business suffered and I had to close it. Managing the shop became impossible because I was very sick during my pregnancy. During this time, Pascal stopped sending money and had blocked me. I struggled to make ends meet.

“He knew the child was his; we didn’t use protection, and he was the only person I was with in Nigeria. Yet, he refused to acknowledge or support the child.

“When my baby was about eight months old, I tried contacting him through friends and old numbers but nothing worked. Eventually, he responded on Instagram, saying he missed me and asked for my nude pictures. When I refused, he blocked me again.

“After giving birth, I sent him a picture of the baby but he insulted me, calling my child a bastard and using a vomiting emoji. He denied the child was his, which was devastating. Since then, I’ve been solely responsible for my child.

“Eventually, he sent me N300,000 but only in small instalments because my student account couldn’t take more significant amounts. That’s the only financial support I’ve received from him.

“I am overwhelmed by Burna Boy’s kindness. It’s rare for someone to step in and help like this. I’m also thankful to Tonto Dikeh for her generosity. They’ve done more for me than the man who fathered my child.”

Cubana has yet to react to Mutimu’s allegations.

OAP Do2dtun calls out Soundcity FM for eight months of unpaid salaries

Nigerian on-air media personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, known as OAP Do2dtun, has taken to social media to call out a popular radio station for alleged eight months of unpaid salaries.

OAP Do2dtun took to his official Twitter page today, December 8th, 2024, to call out Souncity over the unpaid salaries. He accused the popular radio station of being very cruel and inhumane.

Speaking further, OAP Do2dtun said that it is not by force to open a radio station as he called on the popular radio station Soundcity to pay their staff the alleged eight months of unpaid salaries.

He wrote; “It’s not by force to open a radio station. Owing your staffs for 8 months is very cruel and inhumane. You don’t need a soothsayer to tell you this.

My friends and colleagues at Soundcity, how do you guys cope? No salary for 8 months ? Mehn that’s crazy!!!!.R”

‘I have cried too many tears’, Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle mourns her dog

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is in a mourning mood following the death of her rescue dog named Guy.

She shared a video collage on Instagram on Tuesday to announce the passing of the dog with a lengthy tribute.

In the tribute, she wrote about how she rescued Guy and how much it meant to her.

It reads: “In Memory of Guy

“In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up….and fell in love.

“They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.

“If you followed me on instagram back in the day, you saw a lot of him – and on The Tig too. He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort.

“He endured a terrible accident shortly before I moved to the UK which had him undergoing surgeries for several months and unable to leave the clinic. Doctors said he would never walk again, but Dr Noel Fitzpatrick said he could do it. H and I would drive late at night, after hours, to see Guy as he recovered in Surrey for months on end.

“I will always be grateful to Noel and his team, the team at Queen West Animal Hospital in TO, our vets now, and my friends and community: Thank you for loving him so.

“Because many of you will now see Guy in this new series, I hope you’ll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you may fall a little bit in love too.

“I have cried too many tears to count – the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there. But they are. And that’s okay too.

“Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know.

Family pays tribute to Peace Anyiam-Osigwe on 2nd death anniversary

The family of the Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, the founder of the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), has paid a heartfelt tribute to her on the second anniversary of her death.

In a lengthy statement, the family celebrated Peace’s “dynamic personality, generosity, and passion for mentoring others”.

They noted that her memories continue to inspire and uplift them, and that her legacy and contributions to society will live on.

The statement highlighted Peace’s commitment to youth development and empowerment, as well as her dedication to her faith and values.

Her family also acknowledged her immense impact on the film industry as the founder and CEO of AMAA and former president of the Association of Film Producers of Nigeria.

They pledged to continue honoring her memory by keeping her spirit alive in their hearts.
