17.5KM EGBEDA-OMERELU ROAD COMPLETED, SET FOR COMMISSIONING!

The 17.5km Egbeda-Omerelu Road, a vital link in Rivers State’s transport network, has been fully reconstructed and is now set for commissioning. This road, approved by Governor Siminalayi Fubara on May 21, 2024, during the commissioning of Egbeda Internal Roads, is another testament to his administration’s commitment to infrastructure renewal.

For travelers from Omoku axis heading to Owerri, this project offers a much-needed alternative route, eliminating the need to pass through Elele. The improved connectivity is expected to enhance trade, ease movement, and boost economic activities within the region.

Governor Fubara’s administration continues to deliver on its promise of meaningful development, ensuring that critical roads across the state are not only rehabilitated but also strategically designed to improve accessibility and convenience for Rivers people.
